Headteacher’s Welcome

Welcome to Coppice Spring School.

As part of The Delta Education Trust, we are proud to promote the belief that all individuals are of value and should be given the opportunity to learn and develop their potential. Our overarching aim is to turn around lives, create opportunities and build successful futures.

Students who join us can have complex social, emotional and mental health needs (SEMH). They have faced challenges and barriers in their education and we aim to provide outstanding learning and alternative opportunities for each individual student who joins our community. Improving academic outcomes is paramount; however, with nurturing at the core of all we do, we will work with our students to find out what their individual interests and motivations are to support them in achieving successful outcomes.

We have recently extended our provision to welcome additional provision specifically dedicated to supporting students with an Autistic Spectrum Condition (ASC). We provide small class sizes, supported by highly skilled and motivated staff.

We have our own therapeutic team including a family support worker, an emotional literacy support assistant (ELSA), councillor through the arts, as well additional support services from Speech and Language Therapists, a School Nurse and Educational Psychologists. Therapeutic support can be provided on an individual basis but is also delivered as part of our holistic curriculum.

We are committed to being a successful school which will empower young people to engage positively in society beyond their school experiences. To achieve this we work in close partnership with parents and the community.

We hope our new website offers helpful information for you, but please do contact us if you would like to find out more about what we could offer for your child. Thank you for your interest in our school.
